What's Going to the Home Grown Farm Market! Saturday, 9 am - 1 pm

Hello!

We hope you decide to top your week off by going by the market this Saturday. So what if it might be raining?...We're indoors!  

This week we are offering some new and familiar veggies:

- Spinach (New):  Pre-bagged, washed and ready to enjoy!

- Radishes (New):  Really nice sweet, mild cruchy radishes

- Kohlrabi (New): Sweet, crisp, crunch. Great raw with dip, in salads, or cooked

- Mizuna (New):  versatile green, great raw in salad or stir fried

- Rainbow Swiss Chard (Back!)

- Arugula (Back!)

- Carrots: Sweet and oh so tasty

- Lettuce:  Bibb, Red, and Romaine

- Mesclun ("salad mix"):  Sweet, tender and delicious pre-washed, bagged and ready to eat

- Beets, Golden:  Sweet and really delicious tender greens

- Tuscan ("dinosaur") Kale

- Scallions: fresh, green, crisp, with a mild onion flavor. 

- Chinese Mustard Greens

- Bok Choy

- Broccoli Raab ("Rapini")

-  Sweet Potatoes:  Wonderful roasted, baked, fried...easy and delicious anytime!

- Yellow Onions

- Cippolini Italian Onions

- Garlic:  "hard-neck" garlic, the flavor favored by chefs

Sorrel:  the surprisingly tart, citrus-like green; perfect in salads and as a bed of greens to accompany grilled salmon
